Through the Incubatenergy® Labs challenge, EPRI and a group of leading utilities are inviting early stage, energy-related startups to apply to potentially demo and deploy innovative solutions in targeted areas via paid demonstration projects. Incubatenergy Labs is an opportunity to get behind the scenes with a number of the largest electric utilities in the U.S.
Erik Steeb, is Senior Technical Leader of Technology Innovation at Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI)
Erik has over 30 years leadership experience in high tech and cleantech. Erik is an angel investor, serves in board or advisory roles with the Cleantech Open, CA Energy Commission and several startup companies in the cleantech sector. Through these groups and his current role leading the Incubatenergy Network for EPRI, Erik works with hundreds of early stage companies each year, connecting them to investors, customers, talent and market opportunity.Prior to his work in cleantech, Erik has 20 years experience in senior level positions in high tech and cleantech businesses. In his director level roles in business development, marketing and sales with Intel Corp, he co-founded Intel’s alliances and business development organization, lead Intel’s EMEA Marketing organization and ran a worldwide sales organization delivering over $6B in annual revenue to the company.Steeb holds a BSEE with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
