Are you interested in learning about innovative policy and financial mechanisms designed to rapidly decarbonize the global economy? Join SFI’s monthly seminar to meet our faculty and fellows and learn more about our ongoing research projects. 

On April 22, Gireesh Shrimali, Precourt Energy Scholar, will present on early coal plant retirement to get to India’s climate goals. The talk will discuss the economic rationale, financial mechanisms, regulatory solutions, and other practical considerations for a just transition.
